Crystal Drain Opener Instructions

CAUTION SHOULD BE USED WHEN APPLYING THIS PRODUCT.  DO NOT USE ANY OTHER DRAIN CLEANER, INCLUDING ACIDS OR AMONIA AS SPLASHING OR RELEASE OF HAZARDOUS GASES MAY OCCUR.

WEAR EYE PROTECTION (GOGGLES) AND RUBBER GLOVES.  ADD PRODUCT SLOWLY TO AVOID SPLATTERING, AS THE PRODUCT CAN CONDUCT HEAT AND MISTS.  APPLY WITH COLD WATER TO MINIMIZE HEAT.

NOT FOR USE IN TOILETS, GARBAGE DISPOSALS OR INTO PLUMBING THAT IS ALUMINUM, LEAD, ZINC OR GALVANIZED PIPES

Directions:

• Remove standing water from the sink.
• Apply one tablespoon of Crystal Drain Opener directly into drain.
• Pour two cups of cold water into drain and cover with plastic bowl to avoid splattering.
• Allow product to work in drain for 15 minutes.
• Slowly flush the line with cold water for 30 seconds.
• Repeat application if necessary.

Contains Sodium Hydroxide (caustic soda).  Do not use in toilets.  Do not reuse container.  Rinse bottle and cap before disposing.  Avoid contact with skin, eyes, clothing and mucous membranes.  Avoid inhaling fumes or mists.

FIRST AID:

EXTERNAL:  Flood with water then rinse with vinegar.

INTERNAL:  Drink large quantity of water.  Follow with citrus juice, if available.  Call physician immediately.

EYES:  Flush with water for 15 minutes.  Get prompt medical attention.

DANGER:  Keep out of reach of children.  Avoid contact with skin, eyes, mucous membranes and clothing.
